China will attempt to establish a long-term mechanism for the popularization of traditional Chinese medicine culture.

The National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine (NATCM) held a press conference in Beijing on the 13th, announcing that the first "Traditional Chinese Medicine and Chinese Materia Medica Goes to China - Cultural Science Popularization Publicity Week" event will be launched in Beijing soon. Officials at the press conference stated that China will attempt to establish a long-term mechanism for the popularization of traditional Chinese medicine culture.

  Wu Gang, vice minister of the NATCM, believes that this "Cultural Science Popularization Publicity Week" event is not only a summary of the previous three years of activities of "Traditional Chinese Medicine and Chinese Materia Medica Goes to China," but also the beginning of the next three years of activities of "Traditional Chinese Medicine and Chinese Materia Medica Goes to China - Into the Countryside, Into the Communities, Into the Homes." The aim is to establish a long-term mechanism for the popularization of traditional Chinese medicine culture.

  According to the introduction, the national cultural science popularization publicity week launch ceremony will be held at 10 am on September 19th in Beijing Chaoyang Park. Simultaneously, a ribbon-cutting ceremony will open a week-long large-scale exhibition of traditional Chinese medicine, with extensive participation from various fields of traditional Chinese medicine nationwide. Following this, a series of activities will be widely carried out across the country. This event is jointly organized by the NATCM and 23 other ministries and commissions, including the Central Propaganda Department and the Ministry of Health. The publicity week will be held annually as a fixed national event for the popularization of traditional Chinese medicine culture.

  Wu Gang stated that the themed days include many open and comprehensive activities, such as organizing experts to conduct lectures on traditional Chinese medicine culture and popular science knowledge, bringing traditional Chinese medicine knowledge and services to the people, benefiting thousands of households.
